Q: Which cleaning services do you offer? A: Post-construction and moving related cleaning services. Home organization and exterior home care coming soon!

Q: What if I don't see the service I need on the Service Menu? A: A strong focus at Proper Clean is expansion. We are always up for a challenge, and always willing to consider a new service! We create free custom estimates, and if we can't help - chances are we know someone who can! Please fill out the Contact Form to chat about custom services more!

Q: Can I request specific cleaning tasks or focus on certain areas? A: Of course, in fact - we encourage it! Our quotes include a full scope of work and are fully customizable.

Q: Do I need to provide the cleaning supplies? A: A Proper professional cleaner never visits a home without the necessary tools! However, we appreciate brand loyalty, and know you may have some of your favorite products! We will discuss product use as part of your free quote!

Q: Which forms of payment are accepted? A: Payments are typically made the day of service, either by cash or check, venmo, paypal, apple pay or other payment system. Payment options are available, just ask!

Q: What’s the first step? A: Fill out a contact form, call us, text us, email us, facebook or instagram direct message us! Whichever form of contact is easiest for you, we’re available! A cleaning professional will be in touch with you shortly to discuss your needs, share our services, gather information and put your mind at ease!

Q: How many professionals should I expect during my Proper Clean visit? A: 1 to 2 cleaners. We will introduce you to your cleaner prior to your visit, there will never be a surprise professional cleaner!

Q: Is Proper Clean insured? A: Yes, we are a fully licensed, and insured company.

Q: Do I need to be home during the Proper Clean visit? A: No. Please communicate with your cleaning professional prior to the visit who should be expected in the home during the visit. If no one will be there please ensure safe entry for our cleaning professionals.

Q: How long does it take to clean a typical house? A: Every space is different! Generally to clean an average 1800 square foot home requires approximately a total of four (4) hours. However a deep clean, move in or out clean can take upwards of six (6)+ hours. Our house cleaning services require a minimum booking of two (2) hours

Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my Proper Clean visit? A: No worries! Life happens, and we get that. It is free to cancel or reschedule a cleaning with at least 48 hour advance notice. After that time, we will have to charge a cancellation fee equal to two (2) hours of cleaning.

Q: Are there any circumstances Proper Clean would cancel my appointment? A: We can handle a lot, but there are still some things we're not set to handle. Please ensure any tasks outside of the communicated scope of work are discussed prior to your Proper Clean visit. If any of the following circumstances are not communicated to us prior to the visit, our staff will need to leave upon discovery. In this case, a fee equal to, at least, two (2) hours of labor will be charged to the client, Items are as follows: Homes with insect infestation, biohazard / bodily fluids, human or animal feces, large amounts of mold, unstable boxes or furniture that may fall, aggressive animals, any inappropriate or harassing behavior.

Q: What if I am unhappy with the cleaning service I received? A: If you are unhappy with your cleaning service, or certain areas were missed, we're so sorry, and here to make it right! Please contact us by phone within 24 hours of the completed work and share your concerns. Please photograph and explain what was not to your satisfaction. We will come fix the mistakes free of charge!

Q: I’m a realtor, property manager or new construction manager - do you offer multi-residential cleaning? A: YES! Not only that, we offer discounts for multi unit cleans, and contract cleaning services!
